Im still in disbelief how well Im doing after having a total left hip replacement. Dr. Hood and the staff were very well rehearsed in their action leading in and out of Surgery. Ive had a totally super pre and post op experience. Healed and healthy... Dr Hood made me feel so hopeful today. I was ready to honestly give up, see I suffer with PTSD. I am facing many tragic events in my family, the death of my sister and brother, my brother-in-law having heart surgery all the week of Thanksgiving, also my daughter being diagnosed with Cancer. Shes scheduled for immediate surgery that I as her mother have to be there in Arizona on Friday. The pain I was in yesterday was extreme. My original appointment was for Jan. 17th 2026. When Dr. Hood got the message of what I was going through he opened a space for me to get injections in my knees today 12/09/25. I cried so much even now. I felt a sincere personal concern for me and my life. Im soooo grateful. Theres not enough words to express the exceptional gratitude I feel. Dr. Hood and his staff has gone above and beyond. I will never stop telling this story or referring people to him. Everyone wants to feel like theyre more than a patient and Dr. Hood is the doctor to embrace his patients. Thanks so much. After doing research I visited Dr Hood with knee issues. His demeanor instilled confidence that I had the right Dr. He did not push me to the decision to replace. We tried a conservative approach, and that fell short. Once the decision was made, he and his staff handled every detail. The procedure and everything I would need for after care and recovery was provided and arranged by them. The procedure is a serious one and his guidance and advice was on point. It was uncomfortable to say the least but doing the work and following his guidance helped me to recover extremely well. I found Dr Hood , his PA Lindsey, and his entire staff made me feel confident and comfortable in the entire process. On a 1 to 10 scale, Dr Hood and staff easily rated a 10 in my book.
